IRE survey ranks Tennessee 45th in FOI laws

            Tennessee continues to fare poorly in the Investigative Reporters and Editors and Better Government Association scorecard of state sunshine laws. We’re 45 out of 51. Survey includes District of Columbia.

Useful information for a “Sunshine Sunday” on March 13, or “Sunshine Week” editorial, op-ed piece or news article. A bad rating back in 2001-2002 was one factor in starting TCOG.
